    Wood Pulp Paper Impregnation Line

The large scale horizontal impregnating and coating line is used to make impregnated fiberglass colth which is one kind of base material of CCL/FR-4.

This production line is a key specialized equipment for manufacturing the core material of printed circuit boards (PCB) - copper-clad laminate (CCL/FR-4). It is mainly used to uniformly impregnate epoxy resin into electronic-grade glass fiber cloth, then dry and pre-cure to form a semi-cured sheet (PP sheet), providing the core insulating adhesive material for the subsequent hot pressing molding of copper-clad boards.

Equipment Usage of Wood Pulp Paper Impregnation Line

Production of semi-cured sheets (PP) for FR-4, high Tg, halogen-free, high-frequency and high-speed series of copper-clad laminates

    Compatible with glass fiber fabric specifications: 106, 1080, 2116, 3313, 7628, etc.

Widely used in consumer electronics, 5G communication, automotive electronics, industrial control, server PCB substrates.

Production Process of Wood Pulp Paper Impregnation Line

    (1) Automatic unwinding: Dual station non-sprocket unwinding, automatic paper feeding, constant tension control.

    (2) Precise impregnation: Suction of the gel tank + controlled gluing by metering rollers, ensuring uniform and stable gel content.

    (3) Gradient drying: Multi-zone hot air oven, evaporation of solvents, pre-curing to B stage.

    (4) Cooling and shaping: Rapid cooling, stable size and performance.

    (5) Online inspection: Thickness measurement, gel content, gelation time, appearance defect monitoring.

    (6) Rolling / Cutting: Automatic deviation correction for rolling or fixed-length cutting, producing PP sheets.
